David Taulbee was born in Savannah, Georgia in 1965, but from second grade on lived in Maitland, Florida and graduated from Lake Howell High School in 1983. In 1987, David was graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Business Administration.

Upon graduation, David moved to Tampa and went to work with the real estate appraisal firm of Real Estate Marketing Consultants. For five years David was employed as an associate appraiser while working toward the MAI designation. He earned the MAI designation in 1996. In 1992 David joined the appraisal firm of Keystone Consulting Group, which at the time maintained offices in Tampa and Attleboro, Massachusetts. The firm developed business in the Tampa Bay area while servicing dozens of clients in the New England area following the Savings & Loan crises of the early 1990's. In 1995 David joined Lee Pallardy, Inc. as a senior appraiser, becoming a vice president and partner in April 2000. In addition, David is a Florida State-Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and a Registered Real Estate Broker/Salesman. Between 2001 and 2005, David served as a Region X Representative, Leadership Development and Advisory Council in Washington, DC, Director, Treasurer, Vice President, and President of the West Coast Florida Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

David is married to the former Susan Jackson, and they have two daughters, Katherine and Miles. Susan is Vice President and Southeast Regional Audit Director for First American Title. David and Susan are active members of Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church and Palma Ceia Country Club and both serve on committees for Young Life Tampa Bay. In his spare time, David enjoys golfing, fishing, running (completed 13 marathons to-date, all in under four hours, and qualified for the Boston Marathon), attending local high school baseball games, supporting University of Florida athletics, spending time with the family at the beach, and his daughters' sports teams.

David has been actively involved in the appraisal of all types of commercial real estate, in recent years focusing primarily on the West Coast of Florida. He is qualified as an expert witness in Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. David is a proud member of the Lee Pallardy, Inc. team which has developed a wide-spread reputation for providing sound real estate valuations and consulting.
